With a solid pipeline of work across multiple sectors and a reputation for delivering world class service, our client is looking for a talented and ambitious Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to help deliver diverse construction projects across the built environment. Known for their commitment to sustainable development and innovation, they have a strong reputation for delivering projects that not only meet clients' needs but also enhance and positively impact the communities they serve.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost management services for M&E projects
- Conduct regular cost analysis and prepare accurate cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Manage variations, claims, and ensure the financial performance aligns with project requirements.
- Act as the primary M&E cost consultant, ensuring timely communication and accurate advice on project budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with experience focused on M&E services.
- MRICS chartered
- Experience on a range of projects: preferable sectors include commercial, residential, education, hospitality
- Proficient in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and budgeting specific to M&E.
- Effective communicator with experience managing multiple stakeholders in complex project environments.
- Strong experience in pre contract, specifically cost planning and procurement, and post contract experience
